Our Martial Arts Classes
Ziranmen Gongfu
Ziranmen is a Chinese martial art which focuses on two main aspects:
– Building a powerful body structure
– Cultivating Ziran -natural and spontaneous movement- through conditioning.
There are no uniforms, no belts, no titles, no calling us ‘Master’. While we have a base curriculum, we favor tailored teaching for the current level and needs of each practitioner. Expect lots of hands-on corrections and feedback. Age does not matter here.
Our training resembles Taijiquan, most of it is slow work, and it shares the core principles. One major difference: we do not have forms (katas)! No endless memorizing of 100+ moves, our training is about changing the body and building skills.
Ziran Boxing
Ziran Boxing is as the name says, boxing. What makes it special is the integration of Ziranmen (AKA internal or taiji) principles and mechanics. In our classes we place a great emphasis on footwork, proper technique and flow of movement.
This makes it a great practice for:
– People coming from internal martial arts (taiji, xingyi, bagua, yiquan) willing to delve into more
modern combat sports.
– Boxers who want to enhance their body mechanics and overall game
– Beginners who want to get fitter and have fun learning a martial art

Health Benefits
The health benefits of the so-called inner martial arts like Taiji Quan, Xing Yi, Bagua Zhang, or Ziranmen are undeniable but often exaggerated and taken out of context, making unrealistic promises.
In our class, we focus on the spine, pelvis, and joints, particularly areas under high pressure like the knees. With our simple but challenging exercises, we aim to improve or at least maintain your quality of life and health without making false promises.
